  • Wherever possible, unwanted furniture is assessed for resale value first. Where it can be sold, IE's buy-back scheme means proceeds are returned to you, offset against project costs, or donated to a charity of your choice. Items without resale value are reused, refurbished or donated before recycling is considered. Our goal is always to maximise landfill diversion and support circular economy outcomes.

  • In many cases, yes. Where furniture has resale value, IE's buy-back scheme allows us to purchase it directly from you. Proceeds can be returned to you, offset against your project costs, or donated to a charity of your choice. It is worth getting an asset assessment early, as many organisations are surprised by the value still held in furniture they were planning to dispose of.
